That is quite interesting these shops especially with the sale on.
Regardless to say even with these sales on i still have trouble having to
look for new clothes in my sizes. All my life i have had my mum doing the
alterations on my clothes for years. You would think that i would deal with it
by now hey.Even to this day when i go shopping with friends i can never
hardly shop with them they go off into the adult section while i first have
to check out the juniors section.YES i am an adult i.r.l i am 18 yrs old and
4'9 tall or not so tall. My 2 friends are both taller than me Julie is 5'2 and Becca
is 5'6.If i find something half decent in the juniors section i can pick up a pair
of jeans aged 10/11 they are the exact length needed for me.If i want then
slightly longer for heels i just buy the next age.I tend to find a few plain tops that
come up just right in my body length has well.So i end up with 1 pair of jean and 1 pair of
trousers with a couple of tops.Guess what i have to pay for them £38.00 nor bad hey.
I then check out the adult clothes after looking for 20 mins for my friends they end up in the
changing rooms. So i decide to look around here,i pick up a pair of trousers in the smallest size
i find a size 8 with a short leg and put them up against me and look in the mirror.
I look down at them to find em dragging on the floor. When my friends come back to me they check
the length and measure it.Now if i bought them i would have to cut off 5/6 ins easily.I mean it's not nice being
this short and having to look for clothes to fit me.I then remember to look for a pair of shoes
for work.I have no chance in the adults has the smallest there is a size 4.My friends say to me
for a laugh get your shoe size checked out.I say i already know it it is a size 1 if i am lucky.Lets me check
it out first has i know my feet havent grown for ages. When i put my foot in the block to check
my size i then say look a size 1,when they check it out they laugh and say just barely a 1.
The size 1 gives me more room to move,Both my friends take a size 6 and 7.Now it doesnt
take to long to pick out a pair has the size 1 is loads of pairs.Right that is me sorted for a little while.
Now i cant see how shops cant make their clothes short for the shorter than average person.
I mean there must be people under 5'0 and i bet shops would make a killing if they did our sizes.
It isnt nice looking round the juniors section and coming face to face with 10 or 11 yr olds.
I see some of the older kids just snigger and walk off .I find it annoying having to reach
the counter to pay and the woman shouting out next please cause she cant see me in the queue.
Some of the counter are pretty high and has long has i stand back slightly i can be seen and reach it.
So no love lost there hey.
